Eufy S1 Pro Review: Everything You Need to Know
Today, I'm reviewing the Eufy S1 Pro breast pump. This is the most detailed review you'll find anywhere.
Quick Notes About This Review:
Eufy gave me a discount code to share with you (see here). They don't pay me for this review or any content I have done. I'm completely honest about what I think. No company can change what I say in my reviews as they see it when you do.
Eufy sent me this pump to test for them a while ago. They don't even know I'm writing this review.
Design and How Long It Lasts
The Eufy S1 Pro looks like a lot of other pumps, but it's actually much better. Many pump companies start with the same basic design, but Eufy took that design and made it way better by adding:
Magnetic charging (super easy to use)
Heated flanges (helps your milk flow better)
Better suction power
Improved speed settings
Will It Break?
This pump is very strong and seems to only break when something goes wrong—like wearing the wrong bra size with it or using the wrong flange size. The pump itself is built to last. When Eufy releases big updates, a few pumps have stopped working, but this doesn't happen often. When it does happen, Eufy replaced the pump if you're still under warranty.
Does It Overheat?
I was worried about this pump getting too hot because it has heated flanges. But I tested it carefully, and it works great!
What I Found:
The outside only gets to about 107-109°F (that's warm but totally safe)
The inside never got above 100°F
It won't burn you or feel uncomfortable
Since the pump sits against your warm body anyway, these temperatures are perfect. They actually help your milk flow better.
Battery Life
The battery lasts a long time:
Pump only: 2 hours
With the charging case: Eufy claims up to 5 days
Real Life Use:
How long it actually lasts depends on:
How strong you set the suction
If you use the heat feature
How often you pump
Most moms get: 3-5 days before charging
Pro tip: The case comes with a special bumper that stops it from charging all the time. Use this! It helps your battery last longer.
How Loud Is It?
The Eufy S1 Pro is very quiet. It's about as quiet as the Willow pump and quieter than many others. Even on the highest setting, it's still pretty quiet.
It's not as quiet as the Elvie (which is the quietest pump out there), but it's still really good for using at work or in public.
Can You Move Around?
Yes! It's a wearable pump, so:
No wires
No tubes
Nothing hanging from your bra
You can move around freely
Will It Leak?
The bottle holds 5 ounces. It has a cap that helps stop leaks and warns you when it's getting full.
Be careful: Don't bend all the way over or lie flat on your back. Like all wearable pumps, it can leak if you do these things.
The App and Controls
This is where the Eufy S1 Pro is amazing. The app is so good! I usually hate pump apps. They break, stop working, or just cause problems. But the Eufy app is the only pump app I actually keep on my phone. It works that well.
What the App Does - The Eufy Mom app works with other Eufy baby products. You can:
Check on your baby with the monitor
Switch to the pump
Do everything in one place
Controlling the Pump:
Turn both pumps on and off
Make them work together (sync)
Control each side separately
Turn heat on or off for each side
Change the suction for each side
Pro tip: Hit the sync button and turn them both on at the same time. This way they both start pumping together instead of one after the other.
DIY Programming (This Is Huge!)
Before this feature, the Eufy was good but not perfect for me. When Eufy added DIY programming, everything changed. Now I can make the pump work exactly how I want. This made it my favorite wearable pump.
Pre-Made Programs: If you don't want to make your own program, Eufy worked with Jessica Anderson (a famous lactation expert) to create professional programs. These work great for most moms.
For Baby Buddha users: If you want a wearable pump that works like the Baby Buddha, the Eufy can do that! You can also use special tricks with Motif parts to make it even better.
Suction Power and Speed
Type of Suction: The Eufy uses "tug and release" suction. This is what 90% of pumps use. It works really well for most moms.
How Strong Is It? Suction: Goes from 70 to 260 (this is a good range)
How Fast Does It Go? Speed range: 34 to 102 pulls per minute
This means you can make it work for different needs:
Fast (90-102 pulls per minute):
Good if you're used to a Medela Symphony
Medium (50-70 pulls per minute):
What most moms like
Works for most situations
Slow (34-50 pulls per minute):
Great for Baby Buddha users
Deeper, slower pulls
Price
Regular price: $350 With my discount code: About $280
S1 Pro Code: Lioness75 or Lioness70 Link Here
Is It Worth It?
Yes! Even at $350, this pump is worth the money. At $280, it's an amazing deal. Some outdated pumps cost $500-$550 and don't do half of what the Eufy does. The Eufy gives you way more for less money. This price makes it possible for more families to buy a really good pump. I love that Eufy keeps moms in mind while still making a great product.
Replacement Parts
You'll need to replace some parts as you use the pump.
Duckbills
Cost: $20 for 2 sets (4 duckbills total) When to replace:
Pumping a lot: Every 2 weeks
Normal use: Every 3-4 weeks
Diaphragms
Cost: $20 per set When to replace:
Pumping a lot: Every month
Normal use: Every 2-3 months
Heated Flanges
Cost: $60 per set (more expensive because they heat up) When to replace: Every 3-6 months
Collection Cups
Cost: $30 per set When to replace: Every 3-6 months
Overall Cost: The parts are medium to high priced. But since the pump itself costs less, the total cost is still fair.
Cleaning
Don't put them in a regular dishwasher
Special baby bottle washers work great
Parts don't warp or break easily
Warranty
Pump: Covered for 12 months Parts: Covered for 3 months
Eufy is great about honoring their warranty. I've never seen them refuse to replace a broken pump that's under warranty.
Quick Summary
The Eufy S1 Pro is an amazing pump. The app is fantastic—and I usually hate pump apps. Getting me to actually like an app is a big deal.
What makes it special:
Great price ($280-$350)
DIY programming (you can make it work exactly how you want)
Really good engineering
Works for lots of different moms
You can make it even better with special tricks
Who Should Buy This?
This is my top choice for most families. It's one of the few pumps that works for almost everyone. You should consider it if you:
Are switching from a hospital pump
Want Baby Buddha performance in a wearable pump
Need flexibility for different pumping times
Want a professional pump at a fair price
Other Eufy Pumps
Eufy also makes the E10 and E20. These also work great. Eufy is becoming the best wearable pump company.
Bottom Line
This is probably my most excited review ever. Other pump companies need to learn from Eufy. The engineers at Eufy did an amazing job. They're showing everyone how to make a really good pump.
I hope Eufy's success makes other companies (like Medela, Spectra, and Willow) step up their game. Moms deserve better pumps.
To Eufy: Please keep making great products!
To other companies: Pay attention. Eufy is showing you how it's done.
The Eufy S1 Pro shows what happens when a company really listens to moms and makes a quality pump at a fair price.
If anything changes in the future, I'll write a new review. But right now, you can't beat what Eufy offers. They gave moms almost everything we wanted at the best price possible. If you've been looking at the Eufy or just heard about it, I hope this helps you decide if it's right for you.
